Senior Research Fellowship at NCAHT is potentially a unique, once-in-a-lifetime learning experience. Fellows get clinical exposure at AIIMS, get to work and learn under the close guidance of senior faculty members, interact with AT users and a rich variety of internal and external stakeholders. Importantly, the fellowship entails more than technical learning. It touches various experiential aspects such as heightened empathy and self awareness, design thinking, innovative thinking, entrepreneurial strategies and traits, business modelling, clinical basics and much more. Innovation fellows are trained to invent novel assistive technologies with a view to founding spin-out start-ups to take these technologies to the real world. Research fellows undertake various types of novel research that increases the understanding of national and international communities about AT.
